Solid granite lintels are a type of structural support used in construction. They are horizontal load-bearing elements that span across openings such as windows and doors, and are designed to transfer the weight of the structure above the opening to the vertical supports on either side. Granite is a popular material for lintels because of its durability and strength. It is able to support heavy loads without cracking or bending. They are often the desired stone for in high-end residential and commercial construction, and can add a touch of elegance to the overall design.

In addition to their structural function, granite lintels can also be used decorative elements.
